《你們究竟要我們怎樣生存？》

林良多

當(dāng)我們是東亞病夫時，我們被說成是黃禍；

當(dāng)我們被預(yù)言將成為超級大國時，又被稱為主要威脅。

當(dāng)我們閉關(guān)自守時，你們走私鸦片強(qiáng)開門戶；

當(dāng)我們擁抱自由貿(mào)易時，卻被責(zé)罵搶走了你們的飯碗。

當(dāng)我們風(fēng)雨飄搖時，你們鐵蹄入侵要求機(jī)會均等；

當(dāng)我們整合破碎山河時，你們卻叫囂“給西藏自由”。

當(dāng)我們推行馬列救國時，你們痛恨我們信仰共產(chǎn)主義；

當(dāng)我們實(shí)行市場經(jīng)濟(jì)時，你們又嫉妒我們有了資本。

當(dāng)我們的人口超過十億時，你們說我們摧毀地球；

當(dāng)我們限制人口增長時，你們又說我們踐踏人權(quán)。

當(dāng)我們一貧如洗時，你們視我們低賤如狗；

當(dāng)我們借錢給你們時，你們又埋怨使你們國債累累。

當(dāng)我們發(fā)展工業(yè)時，你們說我們是污染源；

當(dāng)我們把產(chǎn)品賣給你們時，你們又說造成地球變暖。

當(dāng)我們購買石油時，你們說我們掠奪資源、滅絕種族；

當(dāng)你們?yōu)槭烷_戰(zhàn)時，卻說自己解救生靈。

當(dāng)我們動亂無序時，你們說我們沒有法治；

當(dāng)我們依法平暴時，你們又說我們違反人權(quán)。

當(dāng)我們保持沉默時，你們說我們沒有言論自由；

當(dāng)我們敢于發(fā)聲時，又被說成是洗過腦的暴民。

我們不禁要問：“為什么你們這樣憎恨我們？”

你們回答說：“不，我們不恨你們?！?/p>

“我們也不恨你們，只是，你們了解我們嗎？”

“當(dāng)然了解，我們消息多的是，有法新社、美國有線新聞網(wǎng)、還有英國廣播公司……”

你們究竟要我們怎樣生存？

回答之前請仔細(xì)想一想，因?yàn)槟銈兊臋C(jī)會是有限的。

夠了，這個世界已經(jīng)容不下太多的偽善。

我們要的是同一個世界，同一個夢想，太平盛世。

這個遼闊的藍(lán)色地球, 容得下你們，也容得下我們。

When we loan you cash, you blame us for your national debts.

When we build our industries, you call us polluters.

When we sell you goods, you blame us for global warming.

When we buy oil, you call it exploitation and genocide.

When you go to war for oil, you call it liberation.

When we were lost in chaos and rampage, you demanded rules of law.

When we uphold law and order against violence, you call it violating human rights.

When we were silent, you said you wanted us to have free speech.

When we are silent no more, you say we are brainwashed-xenophobes.

“Why do you hate us so much﹖”we asked.

“No,” you answered, “we don't hate you.”

We don't hate you either, but, do you understand us?

“Of course we do, ”you said, “We have AFP, CNN and BBC's ……”

What do you really want from us?

Think hard first, then answer, Because you only get so many chances.

Enough is enough, enough hypocrisy for this one world.

We want one world, one dream, and peace on earth.

This big blue earth is big enough for all of us.

林良多的簡介

林多梁（Liang-Duo Lin），字松濤，美國紐約州立大學(xué)水牛城分校退休華裔物理學(xué)榮譽(yù)教授。1948年遷居臺灣。50年代先后畢業(yè)于臺灣大學(xué)和臺灣清華大學(xué)。后赴美留學(xué)，在美國俄亥俄州立大學(xué)獲得博士學(xué)位。后任美國紐約州立大學(xué)物理系教授。1973年開始訪問中國大陸，大陸改革開放以來，林教授長期在清華大學(xué)、中國科技大學(xué)、復(fù)旦大學(xué)、浙江大學(xué)等知名高校擔(dān)任客座教授。目前已退休，現(xiàn)居住在加州硅谷地區(qū)。
